About Lynda Monahan
Lynda is a Canadian poet, editor and creative writing facilitator residing in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Her third poetry collection, “verge” (2014) is an exploration through metaphor of a woman at a turning point in her life. She is the author of two previous collections of poetry, “a slow dance in the flames” (1998) and “what my body knows” (2003). She edited, ‘Second Chances- stories of acquired brain injury survivors ‘, ‘With Just One Reach of Hands’ and the poetry anthology ‘Skating in the Exit Light’. Lynda is currently the writer-in-residence at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
